Separation Techniques & Membrane Processes

Matching technical progress with local priorities

The Chemical Society of Tunisia, The Faculty of Science of Sfax (Tunisia), the University of Blida (Algeria) and the Institute of Filtration and Separation Techniques (France) will organize the second International congress FRANCOFILT from 22 to 25 September 2019 in the tourist area of Hammamet-South in Tunisia.

Objective of the meeting

to encourage exchanges between research experts, engineers, operators and the decisions-makers who wish to discover the latest advances and the most innovative practices in Solid/Fluid separation and membrane technologies.

Two days will be dedicated to technical interventions that will combine oral presentations, plenary and keynotes speeches, round-tables and scientific posters. The industrial benefits of filtration and the acquisition of practical knowledge will be highlighted during the commercial exhibitions and training workshops.

The selected topics will address environmental, energy et health issues for which separation techniques are able to
provide sustainable solutions :

  • Municipal et industrial water treatment
  • Quality and treatment of indoor air
  • Recycling and reuse of wastewater
  • Desalination and renewable energies
  • Traitement of sludge
  • Applications of Filtration for biotechnology/biopharmaceutical
  • Characterisation methods, tests and analysis techniques
  • Technology for manufacturing new filtration membrane.
