New based-membrane technologies for drinking water production
and waste water recycling/reuse

24-26 april 2017
16th STM school, Danang City, Vietnam

OBJECTIVE:

Develop research and applications of membrane technologies for better water quality management in Vietnam

Following the success of the first 2 schools dedicated to membrane technologies organized in Hanoi (2011) and Ho Chi Minh (2014), the IET/VAST – Institute of Environmental Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology – and the UNESCO-SIMEV Chair organized a third school in Danang.

This 3rd school gathered no less than 35 participants, from France, Vietnam but also from Japan and Australia. The training certificates were officially delivered to them personally.

A round table was organized at the end of the second day by Prof. Trinh Van Tuyen, Prof. Long Nghiem, Dr Lesage and Dr Zaviska, to discuss  the prospects for collaboration between Vietnam, Australia and France around new membrane technologies applied to water treatment (recycling, desalination).
