Attached to the ENSCM and supported by the IEM, the SIMEV Chair is an
international university partnership certified by UNESCO since 2004.
It contributes to the SDGs through the promotion of membrane technologies
to prevent and solve conflicts linked to water.
SIMEV helps to ensure access to sustainable water, sanitation and renewable energies
by supporting the implementation of concrete projects for local communities in rural and urban areas.
SIMEV organizes thematic STM schools and training courses
for local universities and industrials for sustainable ownership
of water technologies and management in the South.
Through its projects and partnership, SIMEV contributes to prevent local conflicts
and to peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development.
SIMEV Chair connects the academic world, policy makers, businesses and social actors
internationally to develop membrane technologies for sustainable development.
Membranes & the environment: SIMEV identifies the main actors,
disseminates news and shares resources around water technologies
available for sustainable and affordable water supply.
